I have collected 'beautiful things' all my life, however, I am fortunate to have been graced with a Mother with an 'eye' for beautiful things!

My Mother the Beauty Queen & Fashionista!

For many years my Mother owned an antique store in a tiny Tennessee town on Main Street called 'The New Moon Shop'. Mother, being an avid collector of beautiful things from the past, passed forward to my sister's and I a very unique gift; the ability to find beauty in all things that surround us!

The collection of handbags presented at Emerging Art Scene Gallery are actually a small collection from my Mother & Grand Mother, some of the bags in the collection were too fragile transport, others too valuable monetarily & sentimentally. I hope to share those with you in the future!

I want to thank those who made it to the event, you have no idea how important it was to have you there!
