Absolutely starving yesterday after work, so I decided to pop in The Whelan Westside for a little bar food and a drink or two! This eatery boasts South African infused American food that is yummy yum yum! (I think their tagline is something similar to the above!)
It seems Monday evenings are a great time to go, very low key vibe, and drink specials like $5.00 Margaritas are so enticing! A real margarita, not a watered down cheap version of one! It was super lovely! I had the Steak Frites with a spinach salad and blue cheese and I devoured everything on my plate! My sister had the Bacon Cheese Burger with grilled asparagus and did the same! Everything was delish! Great service too!
Lucky for me, after a very long day of staring at my computer, National Tequila Day & Monday fell on the same day! Whoot! Sheer serendipity!
