Have you ever thought about why the iconic brand, Chanel, is so super expensive?
Well, when Coco Chanel launched her line in the 1920s, every piece was completely hand stitched. Buttons were carved out of shell and fabric imported from France was a very rare commodity? Mass production did not exist, only service sewers creating very few pieces, hence, the word and world of couture.
Nothing much has changed over time with Chanel, the double Cs, beautiful details and quilted construction still remain today, proving that a timeless classic can still be made in modern times.
